Structured firmware
Developing C/C++ firmware for sensor acquisition, state handling, actuator control, persistent settings, watchdogs, and OTA.
Process Engineering · Embedded & IoT
Reliable firmware, from device to field.
I work in process engineering at Wiwynn and bring hands-on experience developing embedded firmware and IoT systems, from device integration through field validation.

How I work
I work on the engineering details that make IoT products practical to operate, maintain, and diagnose when something goes wrong.
Developing C/C++ firmware for sensor acquisition, state handling, actuator control, persistent settings, watchdogs, and OTA.
Connecting devices and services through RS485/Modbus RTU, UART, I²C, Wi-Fi, GPRS/LTE, and REST.
Checking wiring, sensors, power, modems, connectivity, and data flow, then documenting findings and follow-up actions.
Selected work
These four field projects show my hands-on work in firmware, hardware and software integration, and deployment. I also authored and tested a set of Raspberry Pi learning modules.
The field projects cover development through deployment. The Raspberry Pi modules include technical documentation and checks of 11 lab units.

FAQ
I currently work as a Process Engineering Support Technician at Wiwynn in Senai, Johor, Malaysia.
QoS analysis covered 10 nodes from 25 Feb to 31 Mar 2026, with 50,400 expected packets. After node-side store-and-forward caching was introduced, overall telemetry loss fell from 51.98% to 15.45%: from 53.1% to 19.3% on gateway 1 and from 50.9% to 11.6% on gateway 2.
Nodes store readings locally and forward them when the connection returns. Based on 100 KB of LittleFS and a maximum record size of 143 bytes, the calculated capacity is about 716 records, or 4.97 days at a 10-minute sampling interval. This is a capacity calculation, not a measured outage duration.
I start with separate test firmware to verify the pinout and DE/RE direction, check A/B wiring, and scan Modbus addresses. Then I investigate timeouts, framing, and baud rate before full integration.
ATOMIC was a team final project for Von Florist. I worked on device firmware, node-to-gateway integration, actuator control, connection reliability, and hardware and software validation.
Yes. Two final-project repositories are public after credentials and private data were removed: ESP32-Greenhouse-Controller and esp8266-sensor-node.
